Rev. Marion Sherrill, aged 87, died suddenly Thursday morning at Kingman as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage. A former United Brethren minister, he began preaching in 1893, retiring a few years ago.

  He was born June 26, 1857 near Watseka, Ill., the son of William and Tilda Bean Sherrill. He was married to Sarah Smith in 1881, and she died in 1911. On June 27, 1913, he was married to Bertha Laughlin, who survives.

  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bloomingdale and the United Brethren Church of Kingman.

  Other survivors in addition to Mrs. Sherrill are two sons, Samuel of Indianapolis and Bert of Terre Haute.

  Funeral services were held at one o’clock Saturday afternoon at the United Brethren Church in Kingman, Rev. B. H. Spratt officiating. Burial was made near Ladoga.
